Deleting a service, team, resource or Scorecard

At this time, the recommended way to remove a service, team, or resource is to delete the entity through the API endpoint.  An entity can also be removed in Cortex if UI editing is enabled by managers or admins.

Removing the cortex.yaml file from a repository will not delete the corresponding entity (service or resource).  If you delete the service from the UI, but the cortex.yaml still exists in your repository, the entity will not be automatically added back into the catalog.

To "undelete" a service, a change can be made to the cortex.yaml to trigger a push event.  

This workflow also applies to Scorecards, however must be done via the UI as there is not an API endpoint to delete a scorecard.
