Because your organization’s workspace is ever-changing, it is essential for you to monitor what is going on in your workspace. For example, understanding these changes enables you to stay informed on key components that can help you identify discrepancies, troubleshoot errors, and maintain transparency. Through the Audit logs and GitOps logs features provided by Cortex, you can track any change made within your workspace.
With Audit logs, you can see changes made through the Cortex UI and API. This includes who made a change, when it occurred, what entities were affected, and more.
GitOps logs also record changes made within your workspace, specifically made through GitOps. When monitoring your changes in GitOps logs, you will find information about which repository a change was made in, commit details, and surfaced validation errors. To learn more about utilizing these powerful tools, please refer to the audit logs and GitOps logs articles.
