Cortex Enablement Workshops are live, 45-minute technical sessions with the Cortex Customer Engineering team with the goal of empowering your organization to become self-sufficient experts when navigating the Cortex platform.
In a session, you can expect a background of the product area, hands-on application, best practices, and Q&A.
Cortex offers workshops in 7 different product areas, and can tailor them to fit your organization's unique use case.
Workshop Types:
- Introduction to Cortex: A high level overview of Cortex and its features, including a demo and rundown of essential features
- Cortex for Leadership: Learn how Cortex can benefit engineering leaders with reporting, initiatives, and Eng Intelligence features
- GitOps and the Catalog Descriptor: Introduction into managing the catalog and Scorecards via GitOps, including a breakdown of the
cortex.yaml
format - Scorecards: Learn how to create Scorecards, review best practices, and write rules that are tailored to your goals
- CQL: A 30-minute deep dive into CQL formatting and data types, highlighting integrations and their rules essential to your organization's goals
- Self-Service: Scaffolder, Workflows, and Actions: Learn to create scaffolder templates, actions, and workflows, and review possible use cases and best practices
- Plugins: Learn how to configure apps that can be embedded in the Cortex UI and fed from any data source, and discuss possible and popular use cases
