When you filter by Owner in the Bird’s Eye report, Cortex only shows entities where that person is listed as a direct owner. Entities owned through a team are not included. This is currently expected behavior.
What You’ll See
Bird’s Eye only matches owners listed directly on the entity
Team ownership is not expanded to include team members
Example
If a user:
Is part of an owning team, but
Is not listed directly in the entity’s owners
That entity:
Will not appear in the Bird’s Eye report
Will appear on the catalog pages when filtering by owner
Why This Happens
Bird’s Eye looks only at the entity’s explicit owner list (by email).
It does not check team membership when applying owner filters.
